What is Acomplia?

Acomplia Rimonabant is a relatively new and unique anti-obesity drug which helps you not only control your appetite but also the urge to smoke.

This weight loss medication selectively blocks some receptors in the Endocannabinoid system, thus creating a better balance which in turn suppresses appetite and the longing to overeat and to smoke.
In addition, Acomplia also augments the levels of good cholesterol (HDL), while reducing the triglycerides (bad cholesterol) and develops the body's aptitude to handle and assimilate blood sugar.

The human trials have shown an average weight loss of 10% of bodyweight, most importantly that weight has remained off even up to 2-years later. Also importantly, it would appear that the majority of weight is actually lost from the difficult to lose area around the waist.

Who can take Acomplia?

Acomplia is recommended to be consumed in a conjunction with regular exercise and diet in people with BMI above 30 and in patients with BMI more than 27, having associated risk factors like type2 diabetes and dyslipidaemia.

Acomplia is not recommended for use in children below the age of 18 due to the lack of data in this population.

Acomplia should not be taken by women who are pregnant or breast feeding their baby.
